Another favorite poem of mine

Hey y’all! About a few weeks ago I posted one of my favorite poems. And I think I’m going to continue on that topic and post another! So here is another of my favorite poems, this one is written by Emily Dickinson:

Hope

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune–without the words,
And never stops at all,

And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.

I’ve heard it in the chillest land,
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.

Hope you enjoyed! Comment below one of your favorite poems!

    1. Thanks Izzy. While that is true and all, I believe all authors need a little inspiration from time-to-time to help them with their writing skills and ideas. So that is why I posted a few poems, in order for other authors to be inspired. And that is why authors write; To inspire others.
